Please note that this is a very popular event for photographers, locals included, as you can see below. I stood on my toes on the lip of a vending machine's concrete pad with my camera held overhead to get these shots, and I still had to crop out a lot of hands and heads. The procession stops at 8 sites throughout the area, so there are other opportunities to see them. More information here.
